Review of Prosimmon Icon Tour Mens IRONS GOLF CLUB SET 3-SW GRAPHITE
I wanted to see what the deal was with graphite shafted irons. These are a fraction of the price you usually pay for such irons so I gave them a try.
The order came promptly and in good order. The shafts are marked as PROSiMON REGULAR FLEX Low Torque High Modulus Graphite Technology. They seem to be about the same length as my box-set steel shafted irons. I weighed one and it weighed in at an ounce lighter than the equivalent steel shafted club. As a new golfer I have used them regularly on the practice range for several months. They work okay. They did not make me a good golfer.
The clubs have a number of build quality problems. The down side, perhaps, of such a bargan price. The stencil on one of the club shafts is smeared, the decorative white inlay on the grips peals off, and I had to epoxy the club head back onto the three iron.
Overall I am satisfied with the clubs given such a bargan price.
